Lelouche Lamperouge from Code Geass

Lelouch vi Britannia is the titular main protagonist of the anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. He is the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the son of the 98th Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia, who was exiled after his younger sister, Nunnally vi Britannia, was blinded and crippled in an ambush that caused the death of his mother, Marianne vi Britannia. After being exiled to Japan by his father to cover up their own plans for global conquest, he changed his name to Lelouch Lamperouge in order to conceal his identity and embraced Japan as his true home. However, Lelouch is left traumatized after witnessing Britannia's conquest of the country and vows to destroy them. After gaining the power of Geass, the power to compel people, from the mysterious C.C., Lelouch becomes the vigilante Zero and leader and founder of the Black Knights, the Japanese resistance, to overthrow Britannia and create a better world for his sister and friends.

The Geass manifests differently in each individual, possibly related to their inner desires and personality. The power of Geass increases with use, and should the user lack the willpower, they may be consumed by it, which was the case with Mao. C.C. calls Geass the Power of Kings, and though she is unable to use the power herself, she is immune to the power being used on her. In the final episode of the second season, Lelouch states that the Geass is a form of wish (referring to himself and C.C.). However, people who have Geass are not immune to the Geass effects of others. The Geass is represented by a glowing, bird-shaped symbol.

Lelouch’s Geass gives him “The Power of Absolute Obedience”, allowing him to plant commands within a person’s mind upon eye contact in a manner comparable to hypnosis. Activation of his Geass is visually represented by the manifestation of a Geass Sigil in his left eye. Commands dictated in this state are written into the minds of the designated targets once the Sigil projects from his eye to theirs. Lelouch could initially toggle Geass activation at will, but subsequently lost this control and suffered from an affliction known as “runaway Geass” near the end of the first series.

In the second season, C.C. gives Lelouch a contact lens that blocks his Geass, but indicates that his Geass will eventually grow powerful enough to render it ineffective. Lelouch’s Geass evolves to cover both of his eyes in episode 21 as a result of pushing his Geass to the limit, trying to command C’s World, the collective unconscious of mankind itself. He receives a second contact lens to cover it later.

Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler

Earl Ciel Phantomhive (シエル・ファントムハイヴ, Shieru Fantomuhaivu) is the main protagonist of the Kuroshitsuji series. He is the owner of the Funtom Company, the son of Vincent Phantomhive and Rachel Dalles, and the head of the Phantomhive noble family and is known as the Queen’s Watchdog.

Ciel typically dresses in a way that suits his noble standing, and he has an extensive wardrobe. He almost always wears a black eye patch made of gauze with a single cord over his right eye to hide the location of his Faustian contract with Sebastian Michaelis. When in disguise, he trades the black eye-patch for a white patch that resembles a transdermal patch, which is fastened over his ear with two cords.

A Faustian contract or a deal with the devil, is a link and bargain between a human and a demon wherein the latter offers specific services and fulfills the human’s wish, and is rewarded the human’s soul after the contract is complete.

Alois, while possessing Ciel, ordered Hannah not to allow Claude or Sebastian to obtain Ciel's soul which resulted in Ciel being reborn as a demon, waking with the signature pink-slitted eyes and withstanding a direct attack from Sebastian.

Then, he leaves with Sebastian. As the two sit in the carriage conversing about what to do next, Ciel's eyes turn red, the same shade as Sebastian’s. He tells Sebastian that their contract is still valid, as his old contract mark glows on his eye.

The Most Significant Eyes Among the Naruto Cast

Kakashis Sharingan

Kakashi gained a Mangekyō Sharingan when Rin Nohara died. Its design appears as three triangles wrapping themselves around the pupil, similar to a pinwheel. He was able to maintain it for over a decade, though he was steadily suffering its side effects with each usage, such as bleeding eyes and deteriorating vision. With his left Mangekyō, Kakashi can use the long-range variant of Kamui: remotely forming a barrier around whatever he looks at to can warp the target to Kamui's dimension; eventually, he learns how to send himself to the dimension and to a new location from it. Kakashi initially had trouble to aim Kamui properly and hit his targets. He improved to the point that he can use Kamui on fast-moving projectiles. When he first starts using Kamui, it requires some amount of preparation and has a huge drain on his chakra each time it is performed. He also becomes able to perform it faster, enough that opponents may not even notice he used it at all.

Kakashis Sharingan

Yasaka Magatama is a technique that Susanoo users can use from any of their hands. Due to its structure, it acts in a similar manner to that of a shuriken when thrown by Susanoo — rapidly spinning towards the intended target — and results in an explosion upon impact. The size of these projectiles are dependent on the user, with smaller variations often used when fighting in close quarters or confined spaces.

Itachi’s Sharingan

Itachi Uchiha awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after witnessing the suicide of his best friend, Shisui Uchiha, shortly before the Uchiha Clan Downfall. With his left Mangekyō, he can use Tsukuyomi, an extremely powerful genjutsu that distorts the victim’s perception of time. With his right Mangekyō he can use Amaterasu, creating inextinguishable black flames at the user’s focal point. Since he awakened both his Mangekyō, he can use Susanoo. Because both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu use vast amounts of chakra, combined with his terminal illness, multiple use of the Mangekyō’s abilities in a short period of time is particularly debilitating for Itachi, such that after using it three times in one day, he was required to deactivate even his normal Sharingan to conserve energy. Sometime after Itachi’s death, desiring the power to kill Naruto, Sasuke Uchiha had Itachi’s eyes transplanted into him.

Rinnes Sharingan

The Rinne Sharingan (輪廻写輪眼, literally meaning: Saṃsāra Copy Wheel Eye) is a dōjutsu kekkei mōra and the predecessor to the Rinnegan and Sharingan. It is characterized by red sclerae and irides, with a ripple pattern spreading over the eyeball and nine tomoe.

The Rinne Sharingan possesses the ocular power of the Sharingan and can be used to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, an extremely powerful genjutsu that can only be countered by the Rinnegan and the chakra of the nine-tailed beasts. Using this dōjutsu, Kaguya can transport herself and those in her vicinity to a series of alternate dimensions.

Sasukes Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

The Mangekyō Sharingan (万華鏡写輪眼, literally meaning: Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is an advanced form of the Sharingan that has only been activated by a handful of Uchiha. They are noted to be the “heavenly eyes that see the truth of all of creation without obstruction” (天壌の理を掌握せし瞳).

Sasuke Uchiha awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after killing his older brother, Itachi Uchiha, and learning the truth behind his actions. With either eye, Sasuke can cast Amaterasu, as well as shape and extinguish them. Because he awakened both of his Mangekyō, he can use Susanoo. The straight tomoe of his Mangekyō Sharingan grant him fluidity in his movements when fighting. Sasuke is initially reluctant to transplant Itachis eyes and gain the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, claiming that his views were different from Itachis. Later, he decided he needs the increase of strength in order to kill Naruto Uzumaki, along with the severe deterioration of his eyesight from overuse, Sasuke accepted Itachis eyes transplant.

Madara’s Sharingan

Madara Uchiha was the first Uchiha to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan. It's not known what the individual abilities of each of his eyes were, but he was able to use Susanoo. The straight tomoe of his Mangekyō Sharingan granted him fluidity in his movements when fighting. When Madara's over-usage of his Mangekyō during the Warring States Period left him blind, this prompted his brother, Izuna Uchiha, to bequeath Madara his eyes on his deathbed for the sake of preserving the Uchiha, thus granting Madara the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Towards the end of his life, Madara was able to evolve his eyes into Rinnegan, which he transplanted to Nagato when Nagato was a child without anybody ever knowing. For the Fourth Shinobi World War, Obito wielded Madara's left Rinnegan as wielding both would have been too strenuous. Eventually, both eyes found their way back to Madara after he was revived.
